Video of the Week 4/28/07

This is a radar image from El Paso, Texas of the storms that will be moving out of Mexico into the United States. These storms are showing that several of the storms have hail with them. More will be posted on these storms later.

4/28/07 Severe Weather Threat...


The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has issued a " Slight Risk " for Severe Weather across Western Texas,Southern New Mexico,and Extreme Eastern Arizonia. Looking at the latest radar image Shower's and Storms are beginning to build across the U.S. Border into Mexico. These storms will push to the North and effect the area's that the storm prediction center has under the slight risk. The main threat with these storms will be Damaging Winds,Large Hail, and Heavy Rain. The atmosphere is not suiteable for the development of Tornados in this area. I will post more information on these storms later so keeping checking back for the latest updates.

Day 3 Severe Weather Outlook 4/28/07


Looking at the latest SPC Day 3 Outlook, it is beginning to look like there could be a " Slight Chance " for Severe Weather in SRN Minnesota,N & Central Iowa,SRN Wisconsin, and Extreme Northern Illinois. Now this is a 3 Day outlook and is subject to change of time, so keeping checking back with the National Weather Service for the latest information. http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/

Recap of 4/24/07 Eagle Pass,Tx Tornado


4/24/07
A Deadly Tornado ripped through a area that nomral don't see Tornado's on tuesday. The deadly supercell formed in Mexico then moved across the border into the Texas area of Eagle Pass where it killed ( 7 ) and injured from last count ( 76 ) people. Eagle Pass, Texas was not the only place that was hit by this massive Tornado, Piedras Negras, Mexico was also a area's that the Tornado ripped through killing atleast ( 3 ) and injured atleast ( 87 ). According to the National Weather Serivce Storm Team the tornado that hit the area was rated a EF3 on the Fijitia Scale.
The Tornado ripped up a four-square-mile area just south of Eagle Pass, Texas and besides destroying the Rosita Valley School. The storm also ripped apart a nearby preschool and more then 20 nearby homes.

Nothing much really happening in the Western Carolina's today, so as I was setting at home I got bored and thought I would go out and take some photo's of the Clouds that were moving through the area.

The photo at the top of the page was taken in Mt.View, North Carolina just out side my home about 5 to 10 minutes away. I will post more later.... Have a great weekend.
